Tiff was saved from slaughter after she was spotted by some animal lovers outside a store in Toronto, where she was tied to a wooden stake. She was only six months old at the time. Toronto bylaws forbid the keeping of many species in the city, including sheep, and, thanks to the intervention of the two people who noticed her, her “owner” agreed to surrender her so that she could live out her life at Wishing Well Sanctuary.
She is a gentle soul who quickly struck up a friendship with Jewel, with whom she shares a stall in the barn at night. Tiff was rescued during the running of the Toronto Film Festival, hence the name.
